issuer/e-commerce pairings continue apace at the beginning of 2000

This month Wilmington, Del-based MBNA America Bank [KRB] says it
will
develop and market a co-branded card with barnesandnoble.com [BNBN]

and San Francisco-based NextCard Inc. [NXCD] will do the same with

Internet pricing service Priceline.com [PCLN]

The MBNA-barnesandnoble.com co-branded card is a rewards program
that
will apply the two online and to merchandise
